Corporate Manager, Ethics and Compliance (Domestic Only)

 Plans, directs and manages on a day-by-day basis the corporation's comprehensive ethics, compliance and business conduct function under senior management direction based on predetermined goals and objectives. Participates in the development and implementation of strategies for all activities relating to the standards of conduct, and ethical relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, employees, stakeholders and the communities in which the organization operates. Provides direction and expert advice in the development of a compliance risk management program to assess, prioritize and manage legal and regulatory compliance risks. Responsible for effectively communicating the ethics and compliance standards and procedures to all employees and other agents, through training programs and publications. Provides expert advice and interpretation of the code of ethics and compliance, including the applicability of the organization's policies and programs to specific situations. Works with other subject matter experts to develop the most appropriate methods for maintaining employee awareness of the program and pertinent laws or regulations pertaining to the organization's business. May be responsible for managing the companywide confidential reporting program ("Helpline") allowing employees, customers, contractors, and other stakeholders to disclose alleged violations of the corporation's ethical standards, violations of law, or corporate policy. Ensures that appropriate and timely responses are provided to inquiries. Monitors progress of investigations of alleged violations of the laws or regulations pertaining to the business, summarizes, documents and maintains accurate records of issues handled. Works with various committees within the corporation that establish policy on a variety of procurement matters. Coordinates closely with the senior executives, Internal Auditing, Finance, Human Resources and Legal personnel relative to application, interpretation, and enforcement of the corporation's policies and procedures. Manages responsibilities within approved budget. Provides leadership direction to the professional staff within the ethics compliance and business conduct function.

 Qualification Guidelines

 Master's degree and more than 5 years experience in Internal Auditing, Finance, Human Resources or Legal functions or Bachelor's degree and more than 8 years experience. Work experience should include a minimum of 3 years of management responsibility.
